Botanical Flowers

  • Course

An intermediate course for stitchers that have done my beginners flowers and grasses course or have free motion embroidery experience and are looking to develop their stitching technique and designing skills with challenging flowers and more intricate backgrounds. You will watch me create two embroideries from start to finish using my own distinctive style and be inspired by more flowers in the bonus lessons. Jo xx

How is the course delivered?

There are lots of pre recorded videos where you can watch me create the textile artworks.
They are split into bit sized sections so you can easily find were you are on the course and watch the videos, then have a go at the lesson.
You will have instant access when you sign up to the course and you will have the course for as long as I am running them, (years).
There are lots of PDF's to download with flowers, layouts, plans and vase designs on them.
I talk about creating the backgrounds and my layering up process, working from the back to the front of your embroidery.
You can join my course facebook group where you can chat to other students and share your work with like minded people.
You can ask me questions in a chat box within each lesson.
The time it takes to do the course is up to you, you could wiz through it in 3 or 4 days or stretch it out for 6 months, I would imagine most student will take about a month working on it 3 or 4 mornings a week.
The course is not done on Zoom.
I have filmed and edited the course myself so you are getting a natural view of an artist at work.
