Contents

Learn exactly how I create my professional finish to my canvas framing.
Starting with measuring and sizing, all the way through to the hanging cord on the back.
This means no more buying ready made canvases that are not quite the right size!
I show you alternatives to the tools and equipment required.
You can work along side me stopping the video whilst you do the next stage and starting it again at your own pace. There are instructions you can print out if this help's jog your memory when making frames in a few months when your memory isn't as fresh.

New!!!! Extra fabric Edge

I have now added this new lesson on how to create this beautiful extra fabric border edge to your work.

What you will need

The following: -

  • a stapler, I go into detail in the course.

  • Staple length recommended in the course.

  • Optional - Upholstery tacks and hammer. Can be used for stretching the fabric but not the making of the frame.

  • A saw, details of options available in the course.

  • Ruler preferably 1m steel but not essential.

  • Wood will be recommended.

  • Rough Sandpaper.

  • Fabric scissors and old scissors

  • Iron and mat

  • Backing fabric approximately 1 inch larger than your finished artwork. This will be visible on the back of your wall art, it gives a nice cushioning for your work if the fabric is fairly thick.

  • Hanging rings plus small screws to fix into the wood.

  • Strong hands.

  • Pliers.

  • Narrow screwdriver or staple remover.
